Definitely on my deck in the morning and sometimes just watching my dog :) Because I am so visual, at times I feel as though Creation touches me as deeply, no, maybe even deeper, than scripture (I didn't want to say that because it probably isn't a very good thing to say, but it is truth)...but it draws me to scripture...to the Psalms and all the things that David said about Creation and smallness of man (I like to look at the night sky too). Definitely a place of quiet praise, silent singing.
We've taken many hikes and bike rides in the last three months during shelter-in-place. I know this has been a difficult times for folks, but for me it has been a time of wonder and awakening just like you talk about in your writing. We have seen such beauty in nature as the of winter turned into sleepy spring, turned into full-bloom spring. We have watched the landscape change along with the incredible creatures of spring and summer. I have felt ridiculously child-like in sharing the excitement of all the beauty. I am thankful for this awakening, beauty, and deeper gratitude to God for His creativity and beauty in creating Al, of this. I'm thankful for the gift I've been given❣️Thanks for your post and allowing me to share my thoughts❣️
